The industry runs on a trap
We won’t name names. We’ll just describe the business model.
01
You print
A platform gives you a “free” dynamic QR code. You put it on menus, packaging, business cards — thousands of them.
02
They deactivate
Weeks later the trial ends. The code on everything you printed now points to an upgrade page instead of your business.
03
You pay forever
Reprinting costs more than the subscription, and the platform knows it. So you pay. Every month. For a redirect.
QRever exists because a QR code is printed matter. Printed things should not have billing cycles.

Questions, answered plainly
Is there really no subscription?
Really. One payment per code or pack. There is no monthly anything, no renewal, no "plan". We never use the word subscription except to say we don't have one.
What's the difference between static and dynamic codes?
A static code encodes your link permanently — free, but the destination can't change. A dynamic code points to a short QRever address that redirects wherever you tell it, so you can change the destination after printing and see scan analytics.
Do free static codes expire?
Never. A static code has the link printed directly into the pixels — there is no server involved. It works as long as your link works, whether or not QRever exists.
Can I change where my code points after printing?
With a dynamic code, yes — that's the point. Edit the destination in your dashboard and every printed copy updates instantly. Static codes can't be changed after download.
I created a static code while logged in — why isn't it in my dashboard?
Static codes are generated entirely in your browser and downloaded as a file. Nothing is sent to our servers, so there is nothing to store or display. The dashboard only shows dynamic codes and QR Pages — the ones that live on our infrastructure and need managing. If you want a code you can track and update after printing, create a dynamic code instead.
How do credits work?
Every paid product runs on a single credit balance. A Dynamic QR costs 1 credit and a QR Page costs 2 credits — so a Business Pack's 10 credits can make 10 Dynamic QRs, 5 QR Pages, or any mix. Credits never expire and stack across purchases.
How do I pay?
In India, Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking) in rupees. Everywhere else, cards in dollars. Both are single one-time payments.
Can I upgrade a Dynamic QR to a QR Page later?
Yes. If you buy a Dynamic QR and later decide you want a hosted page behind it, go to that code's detail page in your dashboard and choose "Upgrade to QR Page". You pay only the difference. The printed QR code stays the same; nothing you've already printed needs to change.
Can I use this for my visiting card / business card?
Yes — create a vCard QR Page, print the code on your visiting card, and update your phone number, title, company, or any other detail anytime without reprinting. The code works forever. Your contacts scan once and always get your latest information.
What analytics do I get? Do you track my customers?
You see scans over time, top countries, and device split — aggregate only. We store no IP addresses and no precise location. Your customers are not the product.
What happens when I delete a code?
It's gone — permanently. Deleting requires double confirmation because it kills every printed copy. That power is yours alone; we will never use it for you.
Can QRever ever deactivate my code?
No. Paid codes have exactly two states: active and deleted-by-owner. There is no deactivated state in our database, and no billing reason a code can die. Only you can delete a code.
What exactly does 'forever' mean?
It means for QRever's operational lifetime. We intend to run the service indefinitely — that's the whole model — but no company can guarantee perpetual existence. If QRever ever shuts down, account holders get at least 30 days' advance notice, and both escape hatches (Static Fallback Generator and Export) stay available throughout. 'Forever' is also not a subscription by another name: no renewal, no expiry, and no deactivation state will ever be introduced for paid codes while the service is running.
What happens if QRever shuts down?
An honest answer: redirects need our servers, so every paid code comes with two escape hatches, available from day one. The Static Fallback Generator turns your code's current destination into a new static QR that works without us, and the Export Escape Hatch downloads everything — your short ID, destination, and full scan history. Your printed investment is never hostage to our existence.
Print it once. Trust it forever.
Free codes need no account. Paid codes need exactly one payment.
